Hi Phil,

Yeah dont mind a spot of beach fishing, or Game fishing or freshwater or chasing barra's, you should see the rod rack in the study ops:

Gary Howard makes a nice stik, but my 2 favorite surf rods are both Snyder mag graphites, a Mag Surf for tailor and Jew etc and a Mag Bream for whiting and dart etc, have had em for years with a couple of alveys you cant go wrong

Must be about time to hit the DI, Rainbow region and get amongst some Tailor and winter bream

(Installed in 1998). Looks like ARB changed the bar a little, with the rubber stops on the front and the cutouts on the vertical supports.

What type of UHF and antenna did you get? Must get one soon, and replace the AM/SSB set.
    Thanks JohnM,

The bumperettes :?: rubber things are a different shape, but mine is an airbag bar which is very different to the non airbag model

The antenna is a Benelec and was on 2 previous cars b4 this one, so it seems to be quite robust and cheaper than the GME equivalent

Hmm, but surely Pedro, in your opinion, that should also say

    "wrong engine".

So perhaps not quite perfect hey mate.

With a LROC trip on sunday I thought I had better get the UHF fully fitted
I decided to mount it on the spare space on the roof panel above the interior light, I had seen others mounted this way and liked the idea of it being well up out of the way. When I removed the roof panel I was suprised to find both a power lead and arial coax 8O , so I traced these back to the drivers kick panel  from there I just extended to the antenna and power to the battery

    the cables found

    where they ended up

    the finished job

    Glen
