    Disco 1 Bonnet Latch

Has any one moved the bonnet latch for a Disco 1 from the passenger side over to the3 drivers side - if so was it hard to do. I find where it is annoying and was thinking about moving mine.

    Thanks

Yes. Whatever made them design such an abortion of an "idea"?

Shirley, it should have always been on the driver's side somewhere or is it just too busy there?

My guess is because of Euro sales - every other European car I have driven has it on the same side. Maybe the EU requires it for cars sold on in Europe??

Anyway, it ****s me too on my SII, I always forget (normally informt of some toymotor driving Wally, then have to walk all nonchalant like around to the passeger side) D'Oh!

    Cheers

Thought that too, but them I realised my Freelander has a nice little lever on the drivers side that you can get at from the drivers seat. My main hassle is that my garage is not large and when the car is in it the passenger doors cannot be opened - try opening the bonnet with the passenger door closed - so I have to back car out just to lift the bonnet.

    Its a PITA.
