<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Have you spoken to the company that did the lift for you??? [/b][/quote]

Ummm, I did the lift myself so I dont want to go shifting the blame to me

As for getting past the customer service people, after asking to speak with his manager/boss I was given a blunt "No" and they would not speak to me anymore after that. I will be sending a letter and email to higher authorities but I cannot get any phone numbers.

Anyone know any numbers for LRA personell?

    Adam,
that doesn't sound good, the customer service staff refused to let you speak to a manager. Mate when in doubt get names and lots of them.
If your refering to a specific dealer ship, find out the name of the pricinpal.
More importantly please don't keep it a secret, which dealer and where.
Its about time the specific defaulters were named.

As far as the LRA head honcho's go perhaps our British 4wd connection can help.

Have a look in your manual all the assist numbers are there, try to get through from there.
On page ! of my owners manual there is this statement.
    Landrover customer care comitment.
Our commitment is to provide Land Rover Owners with a unique ownership experience through extraordinary customer satisfaction.

If it is Landrover Australia that has denied you access, simple just go to Fair Trading and Lodge a complaint regarding not providing new vehicle warranty. Then let the press know,

I am sure they will then want to contact you.

    Lawyer time.

I don't know if this will be of help but the 95 Rossignol (bought new) I had was lifted as delivered, (still got the pics). I didn't know about this stuff until maybe a year after I bought it...

But the hair splitters will probably say that was a series one....

    Walker,

Bypass the customer supportless evasion people and go straight to fair trading, get them involved and I'm sure you will be hearing from LR to organise a suitable time for repairs and probably even a loan car during the process.

I would highly doubt that a medium and still legal suspension lift (especially as it is to cater for the weight of bar and winch) would cause or void warranty, dont they offer a h/duty suspension system as one of their options, does it specifically state on the warranty documents what will and wont void warranty.

I have given up on Land Rover. I exchanged a number of emails with Steve Morten (General manager of LRA) and he ended up getting into lots of totally irrelevent area's. He made mention of all the other accessories I have (bar, winch, lockers) and that most of my car was out of warranty now because of it. He also threatened to " dob me in" for running 32" tyres as they don't comply with ADR's. Anyway Range Rov are doing a great job at the moment fixing it all up.

I have already noticed D3s being discounted so I guess they are not selling as well as expected - certainly sales don't seem to be much more than the D2.

Maybe Landrover's approach to customer care and customers concerns has something to do with it!!
