Thread: Td5 Harmonic balancer.

G'day all.
I am contemplating replacing my HB on my Td5. It has 98000ks on it which is not a lot but as the car is a long term vehicle, I would prefer to get to it before it gets me. Nothing obvious yet but the car has an unexplained harmonic vibration at around 110km/h and a rattle at turn off. I have changed engine mounts, front shaft, G/box mounts, rotoflex coupling and spigot bearing. There is nothing and I mean nothing rubbing.
Question is, do I splash out on a Ross item, or just a normal everyday item. What's the best option? Best place to order from?

My OE balancer is at 250 ks and no vibrations or noise. If i was to replace it i would go the Ross.
Have you checked your viscous fan bearing .
