    Roadworthy

    Hi all.
I'm looking for someone to do a roadworthy in North East Brisbane.
Some one who understands a 40 year old Land Rover,
And isn't looking for demisters and hazard lights.
    Any help greatly appreciated

Well demisters and hazard lights are part of the roady man.
If your looking for a bodgy roady then could i suggest biting the bullet and getting a legit one. Costs a lot more but peace of mind is priceless.

Very few will turn a blind eye these days.......

Unsure if you are selling or it's a keeper, some are flexible if you are not selling.

Might be easier just fixing the issues.

    RWC

    Hi

I was under the impression the vehicle only has to comply with the date it was made. eg 1969

I'm not after a bodgy RWC. just some one who knows a Land Rover from a Kia

    G'day 50LRO

I would suggest M.R.Automotive at Redcliffe, they are Landrover specialists from 48 through to new, I take my LR's to them and get most of my parts from them, (2x Series,1x85 Rangie and 1xDisco 1), my son-in-law has just had his Disco 1 down there for a RWC,they know their LR's

Their Ph No is 3284 6688

    cheers

    LOL! Thats amusing man.
My wife owns a Kia and i treat that thing like a LR.
Often taking it off road lolz.

And yes i think your correct in that the car has to comply to its year.
Everything that was there must be there and work.

If MR are still referring RWC to the same mob that they sent me to they would not do a series vehicle.......that was a few years ago now so may not be the same mob.

I found one in the end........that knew series and suggested the which QT office to avoid.

My apologies....I shouldn't assume you were trying to get a dodgy.

I was under the impression some safety upgrades had to take place even on older cars that otherwise did not have them?
Seatbelts are an example. If im not mistaken a car Pre seatbelts wont get a roady unless some are fitted.
    I could be wrong though.
