    Shaft
Certainly is - scrap value only or else get it machined to fit a tapered roller intermediate shaft. But the engaging teeth are probably worn as well from that wobbly hi range gear.

He didn't know what he's talking about if he reckons a standard roller bearing intermediate shaft is better than a tapered roller one behind an Isuzu. This wouldn't have happened with a TRB setup.

Thanks all, to fix this properly and move to the TRB setup. I need new gears I guess, all 3. I will also need the shaft and bearings. Do you have a shopping list Brian?
