    D1 v Defender hubs

    Are they the same??

If not what the chances of a forum member have one of each? Need some measurements taken.

    Or

Which would have the narrowest wheel base

    1. A defender with D1 steel rims and 235/85/16's or

    2. A D1 with D1 steel rims and 235/85/16's

Hope that makes sense......on my 6th frothy

I think the term you are looking for is track width, not wheel base.

30 seconds on google tells me they are the same.

The later D1 ones are a left or right fit. As the right one doesn't have both arms for the tie rods .
