Madman ems oil pressure T piece

Can anyone who has fitted one of these up had the problem illustrated below. Original pressure switch is parallel thread while supplied adaptor has tapered in both ports. Vdo pressure sender is also tapered male thread. Everything else is installed nicely but not keen on the seal between parallel and tapered fittings. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1446359100.922477.jpg

I had the same problem. LR in their wisdom produced both parallel and tapered type pressure senders. A tapered thread WILL leak in the parallel thread.

you want part 547-62, I ordered through Burson. You will need the right washers as well - bonded seal also called a dowty washer.

    cheers

    Thanks mate.
Going to try and get a hose made up to move it away from that area as well.
Bit too close to the exhaust for my liking.
