    Boost/EGT gauge

Anyone used one of these gauges Boost Gauge

Seems like a good idea having boost and EGT in the same gauge specially considering it will be going in a perentie where there isn't alot of dash space.

Seems a pretty reasonable price for a gauge to do both functions including the sensors.

Be nice if they came in a 52mm version that would fit standard defender instrument holes.

I agree the 52mm would be nice but I figure finding a place for a single 60mm gauge should be easier than a pair of 52mm gauges

Have a look at these Boost/EGT gauge Combo Kit - McNally Electronics Store

its what I ended up using comes in 52mm and able to choose the color so suits the dash, I pulled out the clock move the fuel gauge over and fitted it next to the speedo looks good and works well.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

I looked at the redarc gauges but seem a little to flashy for a defender also a mate has them in his patrol and doesnt rate them coz with polarized sunnies on the screen just looks black seems minor bit would be a huge PITA just something to consider as I never did until he mentioned it

In the "other recommendations" category, it's possible to fit 5 gauges in the space you have. There's just a ton of wasted space with all the unused warning lights. This is what I did:

And a picture of it not quite complete for when the forum decides that it doesn't like the youtube link any more...
