    So assuming you have stock bump stops you will already a higher spring rate at bump (more air compressed into the same space).

    In this case I would see if you are bottoming it out on bumps, if you are then fill the pistons, or slow down

    If you are running extended bump stops, I think you would need to get the air volume at your new bump the same as it was at the standard bump. Filling the pistons may do this, or go part way.

    G`day ,

    i don`t know the reasoning other than volume and as the system works well in standard form with the factory volume they may look for a status quo and as you say they are the experts .

    I would have thought that how you have the height sensors working would have a large importance because they are what dictates/changes the volume and change of for each bag .

    No height sensors on this, it manually filled and rear bags only. May have to do a crossover system for offroad only, not sure yet

    From dimming memory.... The conventional wisdom is to fit the slightly longer ''REAR" bellows on the front units.

    This is supposed to give the front suspension (potentially) a tad more height.

    Biggest advantage I can think of is... only need to take ONE spare bellows with you when going Far Far away. Otherwise, you'd need to take one front and one rear, 'just in case'

    Never tried it, as I've got Arnotts Gen III front and rear on my Classic

    The Lady Sarah, '95 Classic Vogue SE with working EAS

    EDIT: Vern, go searching around here, there was a thread on fitting replacement bellows whilst out in the bush. Involved a jack, detergent and bad language. An air supply featured as well.... Fast agile fingers are a bonus, or else they can end up flattened.!

    See Dougal's write-up. My understanding is that one uses the vehicles weight to do the business, guided by nimble fingers and self-preservation !
