Trying to cut down the noise level from the td5 motor, can any one advise which is the best type of soundproofing to get, for under bonnet, firewall and floor.

I bought underbonnet sound deadening from these guys. It was very effective (I wouldn't bother with anything else).
However, on our trip it got muddy, and it fell down in places [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img] I've emailed them to ask about it, but they haven't got back to me. Maybe I ought to chase them [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]

i had the same stuff under the bonnet of the hyundai accent, did a great job.
i noticed the local supercheap had it in stock the other week...

Thanks for the info will look it up, for some reason the td5 seems
very loud until 4th gear (auto).
