I have been in contact with those guys for a while. I was intending to just use the plastic undertray as a template for some heavy allloy plate and get some brackets welded to the heavy aluminium frame. Simon Shirely who I think you know from the Freelander club sent me some mods that will give me a 2" lift without changing springs etc - it is just longer higher tensile bolts, nuts and washers for the top of the suspension - acts like a spacer and apparently the increased angle for the CVs is not a problem. Harvey G (who I also think you know) has an ECU mod that gives a lot more torque at 2000rpm when the turbo comes on line so that will help offset the lack of a low gear - not sure of the cost though.
So how is the trip going - I suppose you are back on the east coast by now.
Cheers
