    Ridepro Shocks

I need new shocks and am on a very tight budget.
I know Koni and Bilstiens are the best, but i havent got that sort of cash.
Has anyone used Ridepro shocks or similar? I can get all 4 for $440.
Any feed back on cheaper shocks would be great.

I have just put Rancho RS5000 and Kings springs on the front of my Disco. I haven't been off road yet, but I am sure somebdoy here has used them before. I have just ordered a set of rear shocks for it as well so hopefuly they aren't too bad  .

I have just found a place that will do them for $108 each for rear. I will let you know how quickly etc that I get them.

Factory shocks now produced by Boge are about $110.
IMHO these are better than Rancho as I have seen the top eye ripped out . This seems to be common.
No experience with Ridepro but IMHO an OEM supplier brand is usually better than aftermarket.

Mate of mine (who knows his stuff) suggests that you strongly consider foam cell shocks as the seals will not last on gas shocks. He can supply Gabriels at $600 for 4. PM me if you want the details.

My Koni Gas are 4 years old and still good, so it must be the cheaper ones that fail???

What about OME Nitro Chargers? A whole kit with springs and shocks is as quoted by the Lithgow 4wd centre a tad over $900. Shocks alone are $556. OME is a reputable brand distributed by ARB and made in Oz. Matt

They seem good. I think that what I;ll buy when i get around to it.
Had a chat to the distributer and a few others who sell them and they all seem happy with them for the $$$ outlayed.
    Fairly big bore too.
