Thread: TD5 Chipped

Hi Guys
On this subject,how can you tell if your TD5 is already chipped????

I've got the big chip and intercooler on the Disco and despite the power gains, economy has remained about the same.

How can you tell if you're chipped? Perhaps test book? Perhaps a drag race. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

Gave it a bit of Jip the otherday,110ks in fifth floored it,160ks came up pretty quickly.
It seems to have plenty of get up and go for a diesel.

I got 9.2 l / 100 km out of the 300Tdi's last tank. But 160km/h is not a target nor is there any where to plug in a chip.

you dont need a chip on the Tdi......just more patience.....</span>

Gees at 160 in the Defender I'd be getting onto Scotty to beam me up quick because she canny take anymore!
