No damage will result from this, and there are no problems apart from the inconvenience. I am rather surprised that you got air in just by draining the fuel sedimenter - usually draining this, unless you take it apart to clean it , does not get air in, in my experience.Originally posted by Hobes
This morning I drained what appeared to be water (and a bit of diesel I guess) from the fuel sedimmenter at the rear of the vehicle.. I then tried to drive down the road and the old girl coughed, shook and died.
This happened several times and eventually I realised I had air in the line. After priming it she is now running like an english watch
Just wondering if this damages your upper cylinders by starving the motor of fuel ???
Are there any other problems with this apart from inconvience?
