I don't have bucks 3 spare, so if it is going to take more than some work on the flares I will give it a miss. If old 35s were cheap to pick up, or easy to borrow, I would try it out......
Anyone....????
Borrowing can be arranged, it kinda depends where you are though.
I am in Ballarat. I am just about to borrow a 15" rim so I can try out my one and only 35 bf mud for size. If it looks close I may take you up on that, drive down, bolt them on, see how much they rub....

GDay gents,

Still in the procces of investigating my new suspension tyre set-up but nearly finalised.

Any opinions on running some Coopers ATR 265x75x16s on a set of after market 16 inch alloys. I've been quoted $292 for the tire and around $280 for the rim.

Everything will be going on a new set of EFS springs and shocks with the oversize coils adding 2 inch to the overall lift. That part is around $1400 from memory.

Any thoughts on this set-up. Is there anything that I need to look at or worry about of even replace with the extra lift?

I'm getting the rubber done before the engine/chip upgrade.

Sounds fantastic, generous offer indeed 8O ....
However, my 1st born is due next week, but looking like going to be late, so I have resigned te being a homebody for the next few weeks, and the weeks following the birth.
My local crew (non landy's, but good guys anyway  ) are planning a Toolangi trip soon, which I will be missing . They have been before and loved it, photos looked great.
I will hook in with you and some AULRO crew for some trips ASAP. I am hoping this driving 'downtime' will give me a chance to track down some affordable lift and tyres so i am ready for action.
BTW, I would have trouble bolting your 35's on ATM wouldn't I? I haven't got the lift sorted yet.
Also, everyone talks about heating and bending the flare (only front for us).... What would stop me from taking it off completely and/or replacing with one that gave more clearance?
Cheers fella, hope to ride with you soon, go the 130....
What is your email? I will send you so pics of mine getting down and dirty

Oops sorry.

As for guards, i just thought it would prevent doing something permanent, and they do hang pretty low.
Will send you some pics
