    Deleted depression limiting valve

I have just installed a Provent 200 to my Td5 defender and in the process of doing so, discovered that the crankcase depression limiting valve has been removed and the vent hose had been plumbed in closer to the air box. Is this a common mod or am I risking damaging the engine if I continue to drive with this setup?
I should also mention that I have an Ecoshot LPG system plumbed in to the intake as well, not sure if it makes a difference or not to the valve removal.
    Cheers.

Photo doesn't seem to make sense why they moved the valve location...

However the Provent has its own depression valve so removal of the factory one is fine...

I removed the factory unit on the boys TD5 and used a brass 90 fitting to run back to the provent from there.

Thanks Tombie, yeah beats me why it's plumbed at that point. That's awesome that the Provent does the PCV valve's job also! Thanks again.
