Use the Nanocom guide to find someone near you with one and visit them.
But as you say no sound from fuel pump it is probably that.
Lift up the rear carpet and have a look, and maybe wiggle the connector, and or put a multimeter on it to see if there is power there.

I found when mine went that I couldn't get it to accelerate after start up and then eventually it would come good. It was like that for a day or two and then on a trip to Sydney it just died completely.

Thanks everyone,
It was the fuel pump still the original in there 17 years old and 305000 km not a bad run. Threw a Lucas pump in see how it holds up bought the britpart tool to undo the retainer ring wouldn't have been able to undo it without it as it was tight as.
