Thread: Valve Stem Oil Seals 4.6 V8

Managed to get the old seal off using a small hose clamp to get some leverage.

However the old seal is definitely different to the standard cup version

It has no spring and the inside has no blue rubber it is also a larger diameter, around 12mm.

This engine was bought from Rupert, who said that it was reconditioned by TRS in Sydney, so I may have to contact them to find out where to get these seals

Either the seal is a different style, or the rubber part and spring have disappeared.

Can someone give me a clue as to these seals or remnants of seals?

Thanks mate that looks like them, now I just have to get the right size and find a supplier!
