Thread: Problem with McNamara diff

    It is that thing, that divides the two halfs of the activator. And putes back the piston which locks the diff. And this "thing" causes all the problem. After around 1000-2000 km it breacks at the outer diameter and lets aire passe. After that, it is good for nothing.

    Just to pull it up

    Is there nobody out here who has a JackMac diff. Or all the one's who have one never ever had problems?
    It can't be I'm the only one

    Brother had one in his 4x4 no issues with it.

    sounds like its over stroking and tearing the rubber.?????

    i have a jmac diff and axles but mine are open no locker no probs 3 years service and 2 cars latter [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

    Is there a possibilety, that my vacum pump not keeps the vacum constant and so keeps the piston in constant movement?
    Can I do something against it?
