Check the EGR valve to not be full of muck or some connected vacuum pipe cracked
While doing my monthly scan of faults on my td6, it came up with
P0401-20. Extended fault path exhaust recirculation governor deviation- negative deviation.
This is from iid tool.
Cleared faults then redid the next day and the same fault came up.
Anyone have a solution to this problem.
Havent noticed any decrease in power or fuel consumption.
Thanks
cheers

You can Remove the valve and ignore if you want to. The td6 won't have a limp mode for the EGR series of fault codes it is too old tech ☺

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
Had a look around the EGR and found that the rubber hose that connects to the EGR has a nice split in it..
JC, Do you know the part number for it,I couldnt find it on my russian version of microcat.
Thanks

That ''rubber hose which connects to the EGR" is much too vague for me, do you mean one of the vacuum pipes?

Sorry its to the inlet manifold.
I rang my supplier and they only do the complete kit. From bottom of intercooler to manifold.
All I want is the top hose.
Disregard the extra hose on top.Its for temp sender.
Anyone know if these are available from parts store or are they special hose.
Thanks

Google out PNH000186 cos for me it seems very like that(part 6K683D here(scroll to bottom) http://new.lrcat.com/#!/12119/94841/98346/7824/98518 though if that one was cracked maybe it would not be a bad move to replace the whole set with silicone ones cos the others connected to the turbo might be delaminated , single silicone here http://www.ebay.com/itm/RANGE-ROVER-...3D111682555222 , or the whole set here http://www.ebay.com/itm/RANGE-ROVER-...-/111682555222 but maybe you find something closer

Hi Sierrafery,
Have rescue taped it up. Have ordered the silicone parts(complete set), so will replace them all when I get them.

Well done, i'm sure you'll feel a slight improvement in power after that cos boost used to drop on old delaminated hoses

Didnt really feel a loss in power. Fuel has gone up a bit.
One thing I have noticed is when I put my foot down a bit or flat to the floor,I get a bit of a high pitched whistle. Its more noticeable when only put my foot down a bit. When floored you only hear the engine, the whistle doesnt increase in volume. I'm thinking that when I taped it up,I may have not got the rubber even where the split is.
Is that something that I should be concerned with?
Thanks
