Probably not. Aluminium brackets would have been lighter but they are so small it's not an issue anyway. Plus the brackets cost me absolutely nothing, so the price was right.:cool:

I hope so. The brackets hold the corners as well as holding the panel down so I hope it will be solid.
The whole rack with panel can be lifted off just by undoing 4 Rhino Rack clamps and disconnecting the wiring, which runs down the outside of the snorkel to a plug under the bonnet.
No holes were drilled anywhere. Several cable ties hold the wiring in place. The wires run across the top of the firewall and then down, under and up into the battery box under the front passenger seat to a 10A regulator and then a circuit breaker connected to the battery, so it is double protected.
I tried to keep it as simple as possible.
