    Defender Ball Joints

    Hi all,
What is the best place to buy ball joint/tie rod/sway bar ends for a Defender? Not much online that I could find. Are these a generic item or LR specific. If a generic number does any one have the part number if they can be supplied by someone like Repco or Covs? Found all mine have had the boots perish, so time for some new ones. Also likely to get a new drop arm and joint if doing them.
Is there much issue with fitting and resetting the track or will I need a wheel alignment after?
Been a while since I have done any of these.
    Cheers

They are LR specific, stick with the OEM Lemforder brand as they are good quality.
Plenty of online retailers sell them just check out the vendors section.

Boots are perished, but a 16yo vehicle that I dont believe they had been replaced before I bought it anyway, I have owned the last 11 odd years, probably time to replace them anyway. Also have noticed a vibration at 100kmph recently as well. Might pull one out this week and have a look at the wear.

Will look some more today. Could not find much outside the UK last night. Plenty for earlier models.
Anything else I should be doing while doing these?

May look at the QH, would be nice to be able to put a little grease in from time to time. Was trying to remember the normal aftermarket supplier and QH would be it. If not Mario?? which company is that?

Craig the sway bar ends are NTC1888. You will also need the bushes for the ends, they are early rrc upper shock rubbers. 2 per joint required.
