    Diff pegging

2003 defender 130 with the supposedly weak rear diff.
Will pegging this diff save it from failure ?
Would ideally like to fit a salisbury but cant seem to find one.
So next option is strenghthening what i have. Would an ashcroft locker help ?
    Open to suggestions.

I recall the problem is the short diff nose hence narrower pinion bearing spacing, coupled with poor assembly in some cases. None of the options will solve the underlying problem - apart from replacement with something better.

I believe that Ashcrofts are the duck's guts on this topic. Email Dave. He doesn't answer straight away, he's a busy man, but he does answer. He's a member of this forum as well.
