    Replacing rubber boot shock protectors

    Hey all,

Does anybody know what tool i need to remove and replace this clamp. The closest thing i can think of is a cv boot tool.. But not sure if I'm on the right track. Cheers.

ther eis a special tool that can grab one of the tags and open up the joint.
You can also stick a screwdriver in the place that it is crimped to release the tension.
I think they are called "clic" clamps
    Google "clic r clamps"

I forced a screwdriver into the crimped section as already described then side-cutters to re-tighten.

Ah, much easier than i imagined. Only struggled a bit with the fronts as the boot seems to be a tad over size so you really need to squeeze the clamp on to get it past the tab.

    Rears took seconds.
