    Dual battery, storage box in back, disco 2, td5

    Good day all,

    Has anyone used the storage box in the back of a disco 2 to fit a battery in? I'm planning to fit mine (AGM type), run the cable (6-7mm) underneath the car from the chargerisolater in the front.

    Reason for not putting it in the front is, you can only fit a very small bettery, and it gets very warm next to the turbo..

    both not true. redback has an N70 battery it the space you talk of.
    he has an alloy heat sheld/sink around it, still going strong.
    have a search or pm him for the details and pic's.

    i personally wouldnt have one in the cab with me unless it was a dry sealed one. dont like acid or egg gas :?

    Egg gas, not a great idea, is the AGM sealed? N70 is better.
