TD5 Auto oil
Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to check the oil level in the TD5 auto gearbox?
Is it just a case of undoing the rear plug and dipping a finger in to check level or is it more involved.
Cheers,
Jack

Its actually a slightly nerveous experience.
On the side of the transmission is a plug. You need to start the engine and with it running in neutral open the plug and check the oil level.
if it starts to run out as you open the plug your level is fine, dont just pull the plug straight out incase you get flow!
Cheers
