autotechnica call it a 5608......

good luck...
Contacted autoechnica and they inform me that they neither have one in the autotechnica or SAAS catalogue for a Defender. Is the one you have listed for a Defender or another vehicle and just fits a Defender. Also waht spline is yours? Also who did you get yours through? Would be nice if they had online catalogues. Having an absolute Sh*t of a time trying to get one for a 2000 model Extreme.
Thanks[/b][/quote]

i think that the number they gave me was for a 2000 model.....
they didnt have a listing for a 2003 as yet......they are in rhodes sydney
i had to go there to try it on to make sure it fit before i bought it.....

but they were most helpful and friendly when i rang up.....
i still got the box sitting in front of me and thats the part number....

ring them back and ask them what land rover that part number will suit....
you may have just got someone on a bad day maybe....

keep us informed of progress......

Paul and Zook,
First thanks for the help. I have located the item from Isotta and will be getting it asap. As soon as i get the part number i will post it. I will also ask Carl in Adelaide to update their catalogue with a reference to TD5 Extremes for future reference once I make sure it fits. As for Momo and Autotechnica so far everyone I have contacted tell me there is not one for a Land Rover Defender or just don't bother replying. They do not even recognise their own product codes. Carl at Isotta did not even recognise the codes I got from the Italian site catalogue, but at least he went and had a look and found the one with a 48 spline. I was contemplating cutting the splined bit out of the LR wheel and fitting it to an old hub kit I have in the shed. You would think these companies would standardise there splined shafts. I can finally see the light on this one. have a great New Year.

Craig,
When you finally get one, and it fits, please let me know.
My UK sourced item via Scorpion Racing in Perth is just not happening. 4 months and many emails from me to them and no reply. They are bloody hopeless!!
