    LR Vehicle specific technical information e.g Topix

    Is there a Land Rover site we I can access the original sales and build information for a pre L316 Defender (or other models)?

    TOPix only goes back as far as 1995.

    The vehicle has prefix SALLDHAV7HA906*** but was a UK build and sale, exported to Australia 2nd hand. It may help with the engineer certificate for first Au registration.

    If I can't get it myself would a dealer be able to access it?

    LR Australia used the Viking system to record the details of cars sold in Australia only so I doubt your UK import would be on that system unless someone notified LR Aust.

    Would the BMIHT be able to help with a Heritage Certificate?
    Heritage Certificate - Car traced with chassis number
    Not cheap these days but it covers all Land Rovers & Range Rovers up to the present day.

    Thanks for that link, initially looked good but not complete enough for my needs.

    Problems then appeared when it reports the VIN being 2017 model.

    I'll keep looking.

    Thanks again, but its still only giving VIN decode information, not the specific vehicle build and pre-sale modification information.

    Today I've contacted Land Rover Customer Relations to see if they can track down the information.

    BTW: This is for my UK build Defender 6X6 and its the 6x6 conversion information that I need. To prove to the engineer that its a factory modification not after market.

    Did you search topix with registration or as unregistered user? infos for unregistered users are very limited, i have and independent registration there so if you think PM me the complete VIN and i'll check it for you logged in
