Redarc battery isolator position
Just a quick question about the position of my Redarc dual battery isolator in my TD5 Defender. Have mounted it under the passenger seat along with the second battery. It is mounted on the floor of the box. Is this safe for water crossings? What if it gets wet, will it damage it? I'm not an elecctrician, but know enough to get me into trouble, so am a little concerned. I could mount it up on the side, but would be difficult to access. Is there a way to waterproof it?
Thanks,
Ken

If your battery's are the sealed type, you could seal up the battery box?
Fit a drain plug so you can wash it out if you ever need to.
I am considering doing this as my air compressor lives in there.
