    the verdict is in

one of 3 things happened asa result of the major one !
Firstly the oil retain bolt went and oil spewed out everywhere , causing overheating where the head has cracked and the oil cooler blew at the same time ....

as stated by the service dept .....good news is i have a new crate motor going in and should be back on the road in 3-4 days .

the bill of said operation [covered under warranty]
    Motor $14250
    Labour $2200
Oil cooler and assorted hoses sunderies $2230

so now i just have to wait

    That is good ( :? ) news.

But will anyone hazard a guess as to why the oil retain bolt ( :?: ) failed?
