Good to read.
I reckon on the Tdi it also feels more responsive, less lag too. But Tdi is a totally different snail compared to the much smoother TD5.
Good to know that it works well on the TD5, I'd have thought it may not play nicely with the TD5 engine management system, and cause limp home disease or something.
My next plan is to get a VNT for the Tdi, and the boost controller won't work with a VNT, so will end up fitting to brothers TD5 .. if I don't get one myself by then!
ps. and your install is so much nicer looking that how I did mine .. it's bright red faced embarrasing(even tho no one has seen my install) .. just a confessional here.
So I'll have to cut the cable tie holding my controller valve to the damper upright and fit a neat looking bracket myself too!
The only gotcha/caveat with the control valve I was told by the shop guy I chatted too (for ever and a day) when I got mine .. he said just to be sure you don't get the unused port blocked with gunk.
ie. fitted in the engine bay, if you travel over mud or dusty roads a lot, and it can build up in the engine bay at all, check the cleanliness of the port.
Looks like you have a hose(breather) attached. Going into where?
I was thinking of using a breather hose too but going into the air cleaner box, or a small inline fuel filter.
Arthur.
All these discos are giving me a heart attack!
