    I'm guessing your not in Vic, Tas or NSW, or you'd be asking for a heater. Let us know where you are, in case anyone can recommend a local wrecker.

    Im in cairns, just the other day pulled the air con unit out of my 95 130 fender... you can have all the bits to get em out of my shed... but it is compressor-less thats now for air... and a few hoses and pipes ive scalped into the air system. Im betting the expensive bit is the across dash in footwell bit and front mount condensor, they are all good for ya???
    let me know

    Hi Steve, I am in Rockhampton and sound like all the bits that I am chasing. Just purchased the ute from Melbourne hence no air-con. Please let me where you are so that I can pick up and how much you want for them. A phone number would be good - thanks Kev.

    Michael - I am in Rockhampton Qld and at present I need a heater, it is cold but summer will return. I think Steve from Cairns has the parts I am chasing - thanks Kev.

    Suggestions if you are installing air conditioner in a Defender Tdi: I recently had mine degassed and removed the condenser to make it easier to replace the timing belt. Have bought another one to replace it with later that is thicker, coarser spacing so is less inclined to clog, and importantly, only goes in front of the radiator AND NOT THE INTERCOOLER.

    Intend to instal it with flexible hoses so it can be moved around a bit, especially so dirt can be blown out of both the radiator and condenser more easily with compressed air. Also, will be able to lean it forward when next changing the timing belt.

    Just had the timing belt replaced last week but will keep your hint in mind when fitting up the a/c - thanks
