Airbag Sensor Fault D4
Hi all
Has anyone fixed this fault before? I did a bit of google research and found it's the sensor on the rf of the vehicle, nothing to do with seat belt restraints.
I think i found the sensor, on our vehicles behind the lower section of headlight and not on the radiator mount like smaller vehicles.
Do I just order a new sensor at $150 delivered or keep investigating/try remove it first?
Have tried spraying with Inox to no resolve.
Main worry is do i need to disable the SRS somehow before unplugging the old sensor or just disconnect the battery?
Haven't touched any SRS system before so a bit anxious about it for obvious reasons.
I probably flooded it when i washed down the engine bay.
Cheers
Russ

As usual, much cheaper online at $150 vs. $212 locally, and seeing as i'm not 100% this will fix it i'm going to leave it for a little while and see what happens over the next few days. Seeing as we're home now, the car's not driven often anyway as it's not a daily driver.
Will order a new one next week if faults still coming up.
