    WINDOW TINTING

Anyone recently have their rangie windows tinted ? I have had a quote for $295 for full tint - all glass bar front screen, darkest legal tint on door glass and darker on tailgate and adjacent side glass. Tint professor with unconditional lifetime warranty. Anywhere else i should try ?

Its a mobile greenhouse no more !

Well, they are doing it today, $295 payable over 4 monthly repaymets, pickup rangie from my work and return by 4pm - how good is that !
They also do diy film, but for the hassle they can do it and i get the warranty.

Where have we heard that before.

When I sold my disco the other week I scrubbed for ages trying to get the dog slobber of the rear windows but was never able to manage it. It wipes off glass but seems to eat into the tint if left on.

But getting the car tinted was worth every cent and I think you have a good price - cost me $400, 11 years ago to get the disco done and was quoted recently $350 for the Freelander.

    Cheers

    Tint

Main thing to look for is it is a metallic film. But with lifetime warranty, as long as it is backed up if it turn's purple or bubble's it won't matter apart from the inconvieniance anyway!

$80 is pretty good for that small area of glass, had all 9 windows of mine done , darker on the tailgate and adjacent glass.
