    Discovery II, front seats

    Hi,

    Does anybody know if I can swop the drivers seat and passanger seat around on a Disco II.

    I doubt it

    attached to in side of the seat down near the consol are seatbelt pretensioners which you don't want to play with too much and also what about all the seat adjustment/settings knobs etc.

    Why would you want to do that?

    Hi,

    The upholstery on the drivers side is starting to tear where you get in and out of the car.

    G'day,
    Mine has started to tear also. (if only we had fit side steps 8O )

    I have just fitted some seat covers and all feels good again. :roll:

    But I'd say you could remove the factory seat covers and swap them over, they are held on with clips around the edges and 12 hog rings hold the covers to the cushions.
    But the differant plastic trims on either side of the seat may have worn differant marks ??

    I imported a set of canvas seat covers, specialy made to fit for the disco, unfortunately the idiot fitter them on a set of disco 1 seats, and they were all but cheap so I'm not overly happy at this stage with them. I might put them on the forum under for sale.
