Brakes upgrade for Disco
As I am starting my next upgrade for the Disco 2 1/2" inch body lift, flares and 35" tyres, and assorted other bits and pieces.
I am thinking that it would be a good idea to upgrade the brakes as well. Does anyone here have experience with the RR vented disc conversion to disco?
Or any other brake upgrades?
cheers Blythe

use the disco vented discs or DBA slotted and vented ( i use these)
Calipers from disco or 90+ RR (or fit spacers to your calipers)
EBC greenstuff pads ( not cheap)
fit S/S braided hoses to all use 150-200 mm longer (again not cheap)

What does the road authority people ( cops etc ) say about such lifts.
I was in Geelong a few weeks ago and saw a patrol with a ridiculous lift. It looked truly unstable.
I know that here in WA the authorities are starting to look at lifts on cars

fortunately one of the NT's Chief Ministers was a rev head and he put in place the system where the King Cobra hot rod club, inspect any radical mods (including they can get it engineer certified)
So as long as it can be proven to be both road worthy and safe, we have a great system. Really modified cars get registered as a single manufacture vehicle - mine is nowhere near that level.
