Very good point about the mixed history, also about BFG and Goodyear, whether or not they performed as well as others in certain conditions, you really don't hear too much about actual defective products delaminating etc.
The MTR Kevlar looked great but I was trying not to go full mud, but it's not going to be a daily driver or anything like that, it will however most likely do some touring so it's not going to be all off road either, hence wanting an all terrain or more so a hybrid. The ST Maxx was high on the list and the Mickey Thompson ATZP3 would have been too but they didn't have them in my size.
Then I'm back to a BFG KO2 (probably not a KM2 at this stage) or like I said the MTR/Kevlar, but that's pretty much a mud anyway.
I still like the ST Maxx but you're right, they do have the history that others don't seem to.
