    Disco II V8 ABS

    Afternoon, all!

    Guidance please. Disco 2 V8 (late 99). Is there a way, other than with stealer (or alternative) software to clear and reset codes on ABS?

    Any hints would be appreciated.

    G'day Pierre,

    Unfortunately the system does need to be connected to a dealers computer to reset... disconnecting your battery and other tricks do not work on a DII.

    That said, there are definitely cheaper answers than a LR dealer - there are a few Landrover specialists around eastern melbourne that are not dealers but have the gear to sort these things - at a reasonable cost.

    I use Roverland on Dorset Rd in Boronia. Glen is a good guy and will look after you if you want a knowledgable Land rover mechanic without dealer prices.
