    Nanocom readings

I have a problem on another thread "Auto trans rough shifts", the workshop can't put their finger on it.

I went for a ride the other day with Nanocom on my lap and checked various readings.

On a page re 'Pressures' I had a reading of zero on every change but the 1-2 mid range this was reading about 248 from memory. These pressure readings are supposed to be the learned pressure readings that the controller(?) has learned over a period of driving, if so how come they are (now) all zero?

I reset the 'Adaptive Values' and that has cleared this reading and it won't come back so why it was there in the first place, I don't know.

The other thing that strikes me as being odd is the 'Kickdown' reading. Nanocom have readings of 'active' or 'inactive' my unit reads 'closed', does that make it active or inactive?

I believe that is my harsh gear change problem, the computer thinks kickdown is required and is adjusting pressures to suit that.

    Cheers

    Mike

I have asked this question on the Nanocom forum but there have been no answers forthcoming there so try the trusty AULRO for an answer.
