Anyone used the Arnott replacement airbags for p38?

Was looking at the Range rover pages and came across some replacement airbags from arnott who say that they give about 2" more down travel. Sounds pretty good, just wondering if anyone has used them and if they stay in the same condition throughout the life of the spring? Any experiences would be great. Hardy Neale seems to have some pretty good ideas aswell on that page, but has anyone here played with the heights of their air suspension? I have asked before but didn't get any replies about experiences with other types of airbags other than genuine.

    Cheers,

    Charlie

I have a set of Arnotts Gen III rears sitting in my shed right now.
The reason they are not on the car is because there is no point until I can work out how to obtain/fit longer shock absorbers.

I already have Airbag Man rears on, switched the old rears up to the front.
Even at my 65mm over std max height, the fronts are begging for more freedom, heaps of travel left in the springs - but virutally none in the shocks.

However, the rears (Airbag Man) are straining at this height.
Despite their length supposedly being more than the std shocks travel, I have popped them off on the tracks. No big deal though.

My evil plan is to incorporate the Gen III's to the rear, Airbag Man rears to the front, HDPE or similar 50mm combination spacer/bumpstop then install std front shocks to rear, fit a dicky bracket to extend front shocks and fit a proper large diameter cross-link to front springs. Far out, no wonder I haven't done it yet!

Life will beome a lot easier once a shock manufacturer develops a short body/long travel shock to suit this model Rangie.

Hey Hardy have been pretty busy today but if you dont mind I'll give you a call tommorrow. I'd like to see what you've done to your Rangie. My Dad lives at West End. I don't think I've seen your truck around, I'd know if I had with those tyres and that lift I would have stopped to checked it out!
