ARB locker RD56 Disco 1 update and other disco one stuff

Guess who bought an air locker today

There certainly is a lot of bits and pieces to play with in the box. Although most importantly it comes with a sticker so everyone knows I have the locker. This is the most important part. Just ask any ricer

It even comes with two switch covers. One for the front locker and one for the rear although only one switch. Maybe I could glue the front switch cover to the dash and pretend 8)

So now I have the AULRO username, RAVE CD and the rear locker.........hmmmmmmmmm what am I forgeting?.........................oh yeah I still haven't bought the Disco yet :!: One step at a time.

I couldnt bbring myself to put the sticker on the Discovery so I put it inside the lid of the toolbox of the camper trailer :roll:

Cool. Tyre pressure goes down, tyre pressure goes up, tyre pressure goes down, tyre pressure goes up

Although I already have the tool box compressor with the pressure switch I need to replace my tank with the one you would have got to accomodate the solenoids. Plus I need to buy the wiring loom and the compressor switch.

Tank is $12 but don't know costs on the rest.

So what year Disco are you after??

What I'm after is a 1994-1998 so it is the updated model. V8 auto. In the base model so I don't have to contend with ABS or air bags. Prefer white but any non metallic colour would do.

Although DiscoDan insists I need to take a look at the V8 manual so I'll take one for a drive before I buy.

I am keeping an eye on prices and such but not really looking for one to buy just yet. I have to get rid of my Rodeo first. Hopefully that won't take too much longer.

I don't need Missus approval though 8) She has her Corolla and I have my Rodeo. She hates driving my car and I hate driving hers.
Plus even after I modify my Disco it will still cost less than her 2004 Corolla

And the most important point after modification you will be able to use the Corolla as a drip mat when you park on it in the garage.
