I noticed there was no keyway or taper in the pulley so the nut is done up tight to hold it from rotating on the camshaft.
Purchased the steel to make a holder, a job for this weekend.
I also need to re-wind the tensioner. It's brand new but I need to rotate it and re-fit a pin, that way I only need a new belt once the pulley is fitted.
The pulley itself is 'interesting' looks like it's sintered powder rather than cast. A quick Google throws up that this is a common way to make timing belt pulleys.
