From what i have read the 200 heads are tougher than the 300, just the usual checks for cracks around the glow plug holes which are normal and cracks in the valve seat area.
Popped a head gasket, just shy off 200k. Pretty sure stopped it before it got real hot, didn’t seem to loose much water, was still running ok. Lots off steam from exhaust.
What should I watch out for when i pull the head tomorrow.
