How does one managed to fit them incorrectly?
Being a D2a I assume it's the 15p EU3 Td5 which has the extra FPR hose, such as:

Out of the three, only one will stretch the distance to the front of the head and thread in (the other two don't thread as they're quick connect fittings), only one is a hose with a quick connect that will go down to the fuel line on the vehicle and the third is a barb that the fuel line from the vehicle comes up to and quick connects. I just don't see how someone has got them confused as they've helpfully made them all unique and not interchangeable...
