hey
megs was driving the fender on tuesday and indicated that it was hard to start at the shop, i off course ignored her comments. jumped in yesterday morning and the fender would not start, i had to hold the key on for 5-10 seconds before she would start.
i had no choice but to drop the fender off to an auto elec on the way to work, all fixed, now have a new solinoid fitted, wallet now a few $$$$ lighter.
i now recall the starter motor not spinning as quick as normal sometimes.
Worth checking whether the original fault could be a faulty earth resulting in the starter drawing excess current and distressing the solenoid. Happened to me, faulty earth strap contact between the engine and chassis.
