    Hi Guys

    Do not touch Pedders.... 8O

Its not popular for a reason

PM if you would like more detail...

Go OME, TJM, OL if you want 'off the shelf'

If you want real choice and tailored to your vehicle ring LRA.

    Cheers
    Mike

No need for secrecy, just do a Google search on Pedders crap and then you can make an informed choice

Do not know what Pedders are like on 4X4s. I have only heard bad stories about them on 4X4s. If you go this way make sure you have a money back guarantee if not happy with the setup, ride and performance.
I have had and driven road cars with Pedders suspension and it is great for road or race applications.

    Thanks guys
The second price for 4ways/toughdog was from OL.
I had uprated diameter/spring rate Pedders torsion bars fitted to the Trytoo several years back.I never bothered fitting new shocks(its done 320000ks,80000ks when we bought it and I would say the shockies are original) because the Pedders torsion bars are so stiff it dont go up or down anyway.I had it back to them but they didnt want to know about it as I hadnt fitted new shocks at the same time. They wouldnt enter into the too stiff argument and blamed the shockies.
I was never happy with the after sales backup and you guys have confirmed my feelings.
    Thanks

Andy ring Michael at WA Suspensions East Freo and tell him your chasing a CASH price ...from memory my boss paid around $280 for a full set of springs and around $660 for Koni shox ......and that gave him an awesome ride and off roadability for his D2 , mind you he wasn't a rock crawler just general 4x4ing

I will second what Sith said. A lot of people I know have gotten great deals and suspension right for the job from WA suspensions. I have priced their gear and you should be able to gey what you want for less than a grand.

When I bought my Rangie it had all original springs and shockers. All a bit tired and roly poly. I fitted different springs scavenged out of my dead 2 door for a bit of lift, then fitted new Peddars shocks. It always rode pretty badly (harsh) and I was blaming the springs, until I snapped one of the rear shocks.
To get the vehicle back on the road, I fitted the very second hand Old Man Emu shocks from the two door to the rear of the Hiline. What a difference, smoother ride, better offroad, etc, etc.
The front is OK with the Peddars shocks, but I have a pair of rear ones that are brand new (replaced under warranty when I snapped one) and I don't think that I will ever fit them.
