    Urgent - Need sump bolt torque for Defender

    Guys
    Am putting sump back on right now after checking oil pump bolt which was in fact loose with no Locitite - cant find Rave CD, anyone have the torque figure????????

    Just Had mine done.I have the printout from the RAVE disc.
    25Nm/18lbf.ft.
    There is a tightening secuence,this may help??????

    Could have been rather expensive. Make sure you report to Land Rover Australia. They will no doubt have their heads where the sun dont shine, but at least they can be made aware of how common this problem is.
    Could have been rather expensive had you not checked.

    Just remember after a few days to recheck the tension on the bolts as the gasket may compress a minute amount.
