Air compressor, relocation on a RR

Ok, Ive got too much crap under the bonnet already and I want to sqeeze my winch control box under there too. Only thing I can move is the ARB compressor from under there. Where to?

In the RR will annoy the crap out of me unless I can sound proof it a bit., I doubt it will fit in the wings of the bull bar. What about under the truck where the Load leveler use to live? Obviuosly have to extend the intake port to a higher point.

    Anyone got other ideas?

It's been a while since I've been near a Classic RR.
From memory there may be a cavities big enough in the rear quarter panels - above and behind the rear wheels, accessible from the cargo area ??

Left one is full, second expansion tank for the sill tanks. And honestly not enough depth to house a an old style ARB compressor. Under the car im told is a big no no, the old ones are not water proof in design. The new smaller one ARB reckon can be mounted anywhere and they do have a breather kit for it. $175 to fix this problem?

1a. What about separating tank from compressor with a bit of air line?

    2. What about mounting to the upright of you rear carrier, so the compressor body is inside spare tyre? Safe and secure location.
If tank is too big then do 1a or ping off entirely and use carrier frame as reservoir...?

What about under driver or passenger seat ? plenty of room and you could mount a hose connection on the seat base or run one to both seats so you can connect either side ?
