    Fuel pump

I have the sneaking suspision that I'm going to need a new fuel pump befor elong. Mine's just started to get noisy. I've done a search, but nothing came up.
What I was wanting to know is, are the thing s I've heard correct? Can I use the fuel pump from a commodore as a replacement?
2 years ago at the LR expo in Penrith there was a guy there selling them for $20 a pop.

    FYI 3.9 V8 petrol.
